A luxury in the Kruger Park called Geiger’s Camp

We loved our honeymoon in South Africa and one of the main reasons for that was the fact that we chose the perfect lodge for our stay in the Kruger Park.

Located on the Timbavati private reserve as a luxurious extensios of the Motswari Private Game Reserve, Geiger’s Camp is a luxury camp that combines good taste and elegance with a rustic and historic charm. Its 4 rooms feature a safari-themed décor with details that make us feel like we’re right in the heart of the savanna surrounded by the wild animals that inhabit it. The lodge only accepts up to 8 guests which ends up creating an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. It was the perfect choice for us to unwind during our honeymoon.

Outside the rooms, Geiger’s Camp also offers an infinity pool which seems to have no separation from the savanna that surrounds it. The lodge’s panoramic view here makes this the perfect place to spend some time between game drives.

And as if the lodge facilities weren’t already incredible, Geiger’s Camp is also made up of an extremely kind staff who are constantly looking after the well-being and comfort of the guests. During our stay, they created many special moments for us such as themed dinners in the treehouse accompanied by traditional African chants and even a romantic dinner by the pool, lit up only by torches and small lanterns and the sounds of the savanna in the distance.

The food they served also made us total fans of South African cuisine! From the breakfasts with delicious natural fruit juices to the buffet lunches with fresh everything and even the group dinners that allowed us to meet new people from all corners of the world. Our stay at Geiger’s Camp was perfect from beginning to end!
